Celebrations and Memories · Ibrahim Kothi
An evening at Ibrahim Kothi.
Some evenings are entrusted to you, and you carry them gently. On Saturday, the 19th of September 2026, it was our privilege to host the birthday dinner of Mrs Kareena Kapoor Khan — an intimate gathering at Ibrahim Kothi, beneath candlelight and old crimson drapes.
The evening was written as a single menu, plated course by course. A beetroot and orange carpaccio with goat cheese and walnut to open, then a pumpkin and truffle latte. A choice of grilled Chilean sea bass or a Cajun-crusted cottage cheese steak; roast chicken, or baked morels, fennel, artichoke and olives. Pesto gnocchi, butter-tossed asparagus and snow peas, and freshly baked bread. To close — chocolate bombs, a filter-coffee tiramisu cheesecake, and tea and coffee with almond-and-orange biscotti.
We are quietly grateful to have been part of it. To be asked to feed the people you admire, on the evenings that matter most to them, is the whole reason the house exists. Happy birthday, Bebo — it was an honour.
